No data protection officer has been appointed, as there is no legal obligation to do so.

3. Hosting and server log files

This website is delivered via Cloudflare Pages (Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA). When you visit the site, technically necessary data is processed – in particular your IP address, date and time, the page requested, browser type and operating system – in order to deliver the site securely and reliably. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in security and stability).

A transfer to third countries, in particular the USA, cannot be ruled out; it takes place on the basis of appropriate safeguards pursuant to Art. 44 et seq. GDPR.

4. Contacting us

If you contact us by email, phone or WhatsApp, we process the data you provide (e.g. name, contact details, travel dates, message) solely to handle your enquiry (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

The enquiry form on this website does not send any data to us: it merely opens your email app with a prepared message, which you send yourself. If you use WhatsApp, the privacy terms of WhatsApp (Meta Platforms Ireland Limited) also apply.

5. External content – map

The map in the “How to find us” section is provided by OpenStreetMap (OpenStreetMap Foundation, United Kingdom). It is only loaded after you have consented in the cookie banner or explicitly clicked “Load map”. In doing so, your IP address in particular is transmitted to the OpenStreetMap servers. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent).

You can also open the route via simple links to Google Maps (Google Ireland Limited) or Apple Maps (Apple Inc.). Only when you click one of these links do you leave our website; the terms of the respective provider then apply.

6. Cookies and local storage

We do not use tracking, analytics or advertising cookies. We store your choice in the cookie banner solely locally in your browser (local storage) so that the prompt does not appear on every visit; you will be asked again after 6 months at the latest.

You can change or withdraw your choice at any time via “Cookie settings” at the bottom of the page.

7. Fonts

The fonts used (Fraunces, Inter) are delivered from our own server. No connection to Google servers is made.

8. Retention

We delete enquiry data as soon as processing is complete and no statutory retention periods apply. Server log files are normally deleted after a short time.

9. Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21), as well as the right to withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future. Please contact info@villaanna.info.
